Connect Slack and Fluso adds team context to everything else it does. Meeting prep gets richer because it can reference recent discussions. Email replies pull in relevant Slack threads. Catching up on a channel after a meeting takes seconds. If your team mostly coordinates outside Slack, this connection isn’t urgent. If most of your team chatter happens there, it’s worth doing on day one.

Setup

Open Customization → Connectors and click Connect on the Slack card. The Slack authorisation screen asks which workspace to connect; pick the one you want. You can connect more than one if you split work across them. You also choose channel scope: public channels, a hand-picked list of private channels, or every channel you have access to. Most people start narrow and widen later. Permissions:
  • Read messages in authorised channels — for catching up, search, and surfacing action items.
  • Send messages — for posting updates. Fluso never posts without your approval.

Prompts that work well

Catch up:
“What did I miss in #engineering today?”
“Catch me up on #partnerships from this week.”
“Anyone tag me in Slack since yesterday?”
Search:
“Find Slack discussions about the server migration last month.”
“What did the team say about the launch in #product?”
“Show messages where Sarah talked about pricing.”
Action items:
“Find any action items from #engineering this week and create tasks.”
“Did anyone in Slack assign me work this morning?”
Posting:
“Share the meeting summary in #product.”
“Post a status update in #partnerships about Acme.”
Fluso never posts without your explicit approval. The draft is always shown first.

Cross-app workflows

Slack becomes most useful in combination:
“A client emailed about API rate limits. Find related discussions in #engineering and draft a response.”
“Process this meeting transcript and post the summary in #product.”
“Prep me for the 3pm meeting. Pull in any Slack discussions about the topic.”
These are the prompts that pay back the integration time.

Disconnecting

In Customization → Connectors, click Disconnect on the Slack card. Tokens are deleted immediately. You can also revoke from your Slack workspace at Settings → Integrations → Manage apps.

Troubleshooting

Add the Fluso bot to the private channel, or rerun the authorisation and select the channel.
Connect each separately. Fluso treats them as independent. Disambiguate in the prompt: “What did I miss in [workspace] #channel?”
OAuth tokens occasionally expire. Click Reconnect in Customization → Connectors.
